Bidencopes Lane Mural Commission
As part of our ongoing activities throughout Bidencopes Lane, Vibrance and the City of Hobart are calling for applications from Lutruwita/Tasmania based artists to create a three new murals within Bidencopes Lane.
The three new murals will cover one side of the laneway, replacing an existing mural and extending across walls that are currently blank. The mural that's being replaced was painted at the first Vibrance Festival in 2017 and has deteriorated significantly since then. In future years we will continue to review some of the older murals we have commissioned in the laneway to assess their condition and whether they should be replaced.
If you have any questions about the project or would like advice on how best to apply, please email us at info@vibranceprojects.com.
Applications close midnight midnight Wednesday 10th March, 2025.
This project is being managed by Vibrance and is funded by the City of Hobart.
